Robin Bergart and I (M.J.) had the pleasure of presenting IBC at the Creative Problem Solving Institute Conference in Buffalo, NY. Initially, we found planning for this conference more difficult than planning for a typical library conference because it was harder to anticipate who might come out to hear us; however, we put together an engaging session with a nice balance of content and active learning. Although the content was similar to what we talked about at the LOEX of the West conference, the takeaways were different. In this case, we focused more on some key considerations before starting up a staff training program on innovation.

Although our attendance was a little lower than anticipated (we were up against a session that served wine!), the group got into the activities and we had a number of great conversations afterward.
